Sydney Weather

From today, I'm back on level 2 position. After a week being level 1 again, due to other continent's issue that impacted ours too, I enjoy level 1 position more - less stress, same pay since the beginning.
Therefore, I have less time to update this blog, but I'm still trying to keep it updated.

This Photo was taken when I went to my aunt's place in Northwood. I walked from my office in North Sydney and took about 12mins one way. You can see the beautiful blue sky with some clouds, the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

Luke 18
"The parable of the Persistent Widow" contains God's promise to bring justice to His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night. God will give the justice quickly, but we need to keep the faith.

14"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."
Sometimes when God's favor is upon you, then all seems to be wonderful. I'd be easily proud of myself. But through this passage, we ought to be humble as it's God who gives wisdom, not by our strength.

17I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." A child will trust without questioning his father as a child does not know about this world and life yet. We should boldly come to God, and trust Him with all our hearts.

42Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." Another verse about the outcome of faith.

Sin, Faith, Duty (Luke 17)

While reading this passage, came to my mind that.. to be a follower of Jesus Christ and to believe in Him, it's a duty for me not to sin, watch myself, forgive sinners, and to have faith.
Wow, after these years being a Christian, with most of the time just asking for blessing and fulfillment of my desires, it's said in the Bible that it's actually my duty to have faith - as I'm a servant of Christ.
Thinking of that again... yes, it's hard to be a Christian, but I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord.
With God's mercy and grace, I shall be able to perform my duty ^^

Reading forward to verse 19. There's a (one of) gain from faith: "your faith has made you well".

Verse 37 (NIV): "Where, Lord?" they asked. He replied, "Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather."
I have limited vocabulary, so I searched the meaning of vulture = predator;big birds that eat meat. I believe that God gave the understanding that if we're dead as in spiritual death, we become preys; easy target for Satan to take us away from God.

Thank you, Lord, for these days that You allow me to know you more and more - to have personal experiences with You. I know that it's not because of my effort, but just Your grace. as I have tried to be close to You with my strength, but I could not reach You. I will honor this moment when Your grace is on me.

Cloudy day again. The temperature is 19 - 21'C. Well, it's autumn already :(
I still want to have my summer back as it was raining for 3 weeks before the Chinese New Year.
Now, I cant wear my summer clothes - have to wait for another 10months then...
